The first annual meeting of the Board of Directors of Clínica Verde took place in Managua, Nicaragua on October 8, 2007, with 100% participation. In addition to full attendance by board members from the United States and Nicaragua, were Clínica Verde Advisors Dr. Armando Incer, Dr. Ramiro Lopez, Boaco Mayor Vivian Orozco and World Bank consultant Megan Gavin. The meeting agenda included finalizing the land site agreement for the clinic prototype, the discussion of options for architectural plans, models of staffing and operation post-construction, and fund-raising targets, including potential business and organizational partnerships.
